Edoardo crosses the Sahara to find a missing ship, while Amastan, a young Tuareg shaman, searches for a stolen sacred amulet. Their journeys collide in a tribal sanctuary, where a haunting past meets hidden secrets of the present.

In the spring of 1961, the merchant ship Talassim vanishes off the Atlantic coast of the Sahara. Its owners will do anything to track it down. But the southern regions are dangerous, under the control of local tribes and the army, and few people in Casablanca can navigate such territory.

Edoardo has travelled extensively through his adopted country, Morocco, and knows the South better than most. Having just lost his wife, he sees the dubious mission as a chance to escape his grief. With his old friend Aziz, he crosses the Sahara and finds the shipwreck near Cape Juby, a former military outpost.

Meanwhile, Amastan, a young Tuareg shaman, leads a small caravan toward the same destination, driven by unsettling visions and the search for a sacred amulet stolen from his tribe.

As Edoardo becomes trapped in haunting memories, the two journeys converge, and the true purpose of his mission begins to reveal itself.
